Homework Centers provide a safe, structured space for students to drop in and receive homework support. Homework Centers operate at select Tutoring Plus program sites and for students at local community organizations.

We operate partnership-based Homework Centers for students at the Community Art Center and at The Work Force Program’s Roosevelt Towers site.

No, there is no enrollment process for drop-in Homework Centers. At your child’s first visit to a Homework Center, we will verify that they either go to school or live in Cambridge.

Your child can arrive at any time within the range for the program site!

All programs take place in trusted community spaces across Cambridge, including schools and community rooms in resident complexes.

Only if your child is able to walk themselves home. Since it is drop-in homework help, your child will be done as soon as they finish their academic work. We will have a place for caregivers and guardians to stay if needed!

The majority of our volunteer tutors are young professionals who live or work near Cambridge. In addition, many undergraduate and graduate students from local universities volunteer with us. All volunteers are screened and trained and also receive ongoing support from staff.
